This past Friday night (March 20th) we had a surprise 12th Birthday party for Patrick. We decided to do it a week early (his real Birthday is March 29th.) It seems his friends always leave for spring break or we're going somewhere and he doesn't get to have a "friends" party. So, this year.....we were proactive:) -

A couple friends and his cousin were to show up at our door at 3pm on Friday with their sleeping bags and pillows for the party as it was a sleepover. Patrick was sure shocked and I must say a bit like me as far as "it wasn't planned" :) - However, he soon relaxed and and Loved it. Especially after he got his gifts.

However, like I said, it was a sleepover. His friends stayed up until 4:45am.

Patrick hit the bed at 12! What a party guy he is. NOT!!!!!!!!

We finished the party off with pancakes and bacon in the morning.....a few more times around playing Guitar Hero....... and then sent everyone on their way.

On Mirandas progress report this semester she is doing good and quite well in Math to which I'm shocked as I totally hated Math. Must have Steves genes. However, one of the teachers comments that made Steve and I laugh SOOOO hard went like this, "She is working on minding her own business and letting others take care of their own issues". If that isn't little Molly!!!!!!!! Maybe we could ALL learn from that:)

On Saturday, Steve had to get the taxes done, so Miranda and her best friend Emma and I headed for the pool. Of course we had to head to a hotel in Traverse City to get some swim time:)
